Symposium attendees who want to participate in the workshops have to opt for either Standard or Premium Passes when registering for the event. These options grant access to three different workshops to be held in the afternoons of 20th-22nd of August. The workshops will take place at the University and in our partner hospitals in Bucharest. The instructors and trainers will be both senior and junior surgeons, as well as students.

Each workshop will span the duration of 4 hours. The workshop will include:

  • a short theoretical presentation about the principles of the technique
  • a practical component where instructors will demonstrate techniques that will then be repeated by participants at their own stations. The participants will be closely guided and supervised by trainers who will ensure mastery of the presented techniques.
  • a short coffee break

During the workshop, each participant will have their own work desk, equipped will all the necessary surgical instruments and consumables.

Workshop allocation

After registration, the Symposium attendees will fill out a form with their options for workshops ordered by preference, from most to least preferred. Taking into account the number of available places for each workshop, the participant’s year of study and previous surgical background, we will then try to accommodate each participant’s preferences to the best possible allocation.

At the end of the Symposium, each participant will receive the Certificate of Attendance stating the workshops he/she has attended.
